As you can tell, its been a while since I've updated my blog. The past few months have been crazy! I'm so glad things are finally beginning to slow down and a new year is approaching. My resolutions are to devote more time to my Scentsy business and prepare for the new baby! I have 5 months before life gets a little bit more complicated. Its Almost Autumn!

I am getting so excited that Autumn is just around the corner! Its finally starting to cool down (relatively speaking) here in Florida. That means its only in the 80s instead of the 90s and 100s. Still...its a sign that the seasons are changing. I really do miss Autumn in Ohio. The leaves start to change colors, you can break out your jeans and a light jacket, and apple picking and hay rides are a given outing. I think I talked myself into a trip back home soon...

Changing seasons means the holidays are just around the corner. Let's see, what do we have coming...the High Holy Days (Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur), Sukkot, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah (which is REALLY early this year by the way, so plan accordingly!), Christmas, and New Year's! Wow, thats a lot in the next 4 months. Oh, and my little one will be celebrating his first birthday on October 9 and I will progressively be getting bigger with our second little one who is on the way! Oh my gosh...this really IS an exciting time!

Bring Back My Bar!

For a limited time, Scentsy decided to bring back 20 previously discontinued scents as part of their Bring Back My Bar promo. These 20 scents are available in bar form only and only during the month of July, which means there is only ONE week left to purchase these. 15 of the returning scents were voted for by Scentsy customers and Scentsy consultants and the other 5 were chosen by the company's president and CEO.

Let me tell you something, you NEED to hurry and buy some of these bars!! I just received some yesterday and the ones I ordered are AH-mazing! Seriously...I could eat them. My first month as an Independent Scentsy Consultant

So, as most of you know, I'm now an Independent Scentsy Consultant!

It all started when my husband told me I needed to get a part time job in the evening. The thought of being a stay-at-home mom during the day (a taxing job in itself!) and then going to work 6-11 in the evening and on the weekends horrified me. I can barely stay awake during the day as it is! The search for a part time job continues; however, I doubt much will come of that since I'm sure there aren't many Walmart's, Starbucks, etc. that want to hire a 30 year old school psychologist with a specialist degree who is still "officially" employed by the school district. Yeh...right.

So, anyway, that led me to Scentsy. I first discovered Scentsy wickless candles at the Home & Patio Show. My husband has a booth at the show and I know he hates it when I wander off to explore. It always means its going to cost him money. This time was no different! During my exploration I discovered Scentsy, and it was love at first smell. Soon after a friend of mine became a consultant and I was pretty darn excited because then I could buy my scents from her and feel like I was helping a friend. When I realized that I needed to make some extra money (without returning to work full time) I thought of Scentsy. How hard could it be? Its an AWESOME product, I get to go to parties and socialize, and my baby can usually accompany me. So I talked to my husband, I talked to my friend (who is now my sponsor!), and a week later I became a consultant!
